Marshall Griffith (1953) is a composer-pianist located in Cleveland, Ohio. He has performed nearly 10,000 events including, solo and chamber music recitals, performances with orchestra, religious services, community and senior events, special occasion and background music, jazz concerts and benefit programs. His music is published by Theodore Press, Belle Press and Pleasing Dog Music and has been performed around the world. He served on the Faculty of The Cleveland Institute of Music for 46 years teaching Music Theory, Eurhythmics, Composition and Improvisation. He has both a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and a Doctor of Music from Indiana University. He was honored by The Cleveland Institute of Music with the Distinguished Alumni Award in the category, Composer-Virtuoso, in 2014. He is currently a Community Artist for Piano Cleveland, an Artist in Residence for The Cleveland Clinic, Pianist and Music Director for The Temple Tifereth Israel, a pianist for The Cleveland Pops Orchestra and pianist for The Shoreby Club in Bratenahl, Ohio.
